EPIC_Tom
video
description
EPIC_Tom expands on new media performance by incorporating canine voice and creativity. For this interspecies project, the artists ask: what is a dog experiencing the moment just before catching a ball? Could it be proto-euphoric—eager, expectant, desirous? The performance explores visualizing and sonifying, in a live setting, canine collaborator Tom’s state of mind.
Colorblind, A Colorful Guide to Colorblindness
video
description
This video won first prize at the 2013 Salazar Awards in the category of "Video & Animation" as well as a 2013 Applied Arts Student Award
This animation was a collaboration between myself and Elena Syrovatkina as an informative infographic for a school project. We used After Effects to create a simple style that would engage but not overwhelm.
The video describes how colorblindness is inherited through genetics as well as the different kinds of colorblindness.
3D Concept Designs
description
Some design concepts of realistic contexted objects. These designs are accuratly conecpted within stories behind each one of them. The bike projct for example, uses an Arduino Uno device plus an Accelerometer to be used for the bike signalling system for leaning left or right as well as could be used in intersections.
The other design concepts are inspired by fantasy and imaginary concepts and prodcued by clay, 3D print, and Laser Cut ABS models.
3D Rendering
description
For my first project in 3D rendering, I elected to create a life-size model with fully moving parts solely from pictures.

Rollo introduces Radius
video
description
"Rollo introduces Radius" was written and animated during a co-op/internship in Summer 2012. Radius was focusing on increasing new user subscriptions and wanted to investigate new ways to engage users. Rollo was created as one of many personas during the ideation phase.
Rollo eventually became an animated character who helped to make the website feel more approachable to new users, in addition to explaining what Radius does in a concise way.

About a Seagull
video
description
Faux 3D environment in After Effects.
First time messing around in AE after about three years! I'm officially in love with it now.
I had fun with this, although the file ended up being huge and I couldn't upload it anywhere, so I had to super compress it. Oh well, lesson learned I guess.

Part of Our Lives - Lou
video
description
Voice over by the talented Lou Papa!
Lou doesn't really use that much hair product, he's got it going on naturally, haha.
Final project for 2D Animation II at ECUAD
We had to animate to an interview with one of our classmates talking about their hair. Also, our characters had to be monsters! So much fun and so many good ideas :D
Anyway, it was really fun to make, and I'm quite happy with how it's looking.
