Ginger Zing Granola
description
This poster was created for an advanced typography class with Peter Cocking. The objective for this poster was to choose any kind of product packaging and create a poster with all of its content. I was inspired by the word Ginger Zing Granola and all of the promotional content I found on its packaging.
La Strada Per Il Tuo Cuore

I made this poster for a publication design class with Jen Eby. We had to create a poster around a collection of things and I chose pasta because its delicious (obviously) and comes in so many different shapes and sizes.
Capitalized Phrases in 1984
description
This poster was done for a typography class with Celeste Martin. It involved sourcing content from amazon.com about a book of our choice; in my case I chose to look at capitalized phrases in 1984 by George Orwell. What you see is actually a photograph of laser-cut typography, which was then manipulated in photoshop and reflected. I wanted the 'tone' of the poster to be dark and imposing like the subject matter of the book.
Annie's Homegrown Shells and White Cheddar
description
This poster was done for Advanced Typography with Peter Cocking. We had to take the contents printed on food packaging and make a poster with the name of the product, the nutritional information and the promotional copy. I chose "Annie's Homegrown Shells & White Cheddar" and stuck to the colour palate of the packaging which is yellow and purple.

TO INCREASE THE EXPRESSION OF APPRECIATION FOR ALL THE AWESOME PEOPLE IN OUR LIVES.
Design often tells us that we need more and more, but can design also help us appreciate what we already have? Though there are many factors which contribute to unhappiness, social interactions, human connection, and a sense of belonging have been suggested to improve well-being. Can design strengthen relationships? Can design aid in making people happier without selling them a product?
My Immortal Beloved

For this project, students were asked to create a large format poster that mimicked the style of woodtype posters. We were allowed to choose any piece of text and use it as content. My choice was the famous love letter by Ludwig Van Beethoven.
I Tried To Do Handstands For You
description
The scope of this project was to choose the lyrics from a song and illustrate the type in a fashion that reflected the mood, tone, and content of the song. The song chosen is called "I Tried To Do Handstands For You" by Chairlift.
Major General Albert Stubblebine III Type Poster
description
The only parameter in this typographic poster was the specific portrait size. David chose to use an excerpt from a speech delivered by Richard Dawkins at a TED conference concerning the case of Major General Albert Stubblebine III. Since the size of the poster is reminiscent of a door through the wall, it is suiting to be reading text recounting the failed attempts of a man trying to run through the wall. The visual design was inspired by the concept of treating white space like the spaces between atoms a concept that implies there is more space than matter in this universe.
