Enigmod 90 Square Foot Living Space
description
Enigmod is 90² Foot micro-space design for young urban living. Based on a meagre budget of just five hundred dollars, this micro-space provides the essentials while using the verticality of the space to it's full potential. A systematic evaluation of the 9 x 10 foot space and the user's needs allowed our design team to effectively retain the 90 square feet of floor space.

Masi: Product Design
description
I designed a simple vessel for a flower, which doubled as a creative presentation dish for gourmet hors d’oeuvres and drinks. It was essential that the project be flat-pack and inexpensive, to meet the needs of the Pan Pacific Hotel. Their secondary intent for the design was as a takeaway gift for patrons, or as a souvenir in the gift shop. The wood co-op also wanted a flat-pack item, for sale to Granville Island tourists.
Masi was a word I came across around the same time as this project. It’s slang for ‘Merci,’ meaning ‘Thank you.’
Rough modeling in paper and bristol. Testing done with a wood veneer and final deliverables laser-cut from aircraft ply. Diagrams drawn in Adobe Illustrator. Photographed by designer.
Sixty° home
description
The 60 Degree home is a 160 square foot design which makes use of a new building technique that utilizes Cross Laminated Timber. The targeted user groups were students and recent immigrants- groups with lower income who had recently arrived in the community. We designed an affordable home in the context of a multiple-home arrangement which encourages community engagement and pride in one’s self and home.
The design process was comprised of iterative physical modeling with some user research as a driver. Field trips to different wood processing and modeling facilities informed our work, and weekly review sessions with our Professor and peers helped us to remain on track.
