4:3 Aspect Ratio & Dimension Scale Units

What are "units"? I use the term in the following chart to illustrate how much a particular dimension set is divided by its core elemental aspect ratio. For example, "NTSC Standard Resolution (720 x 540)" is "180" times larger than its 4:3 aspect ratio; that is 4 x 180 (width) = 720; and 3 x 180 (height) = 540.
