Piece A

Piece B

(The hinge will be invisible.)

First of all, decide how you want your cutout pieces to fit together. Maintaining alignment, carefully flip the pieces over onto a hard flat surface, and hold.

Push a pin into the hinge point.

Push the pin far enough to go through the top piece (B) but only far enough to MARK (A).

Now,

Bend your 1.5" piece of wire into a clean "L" shape

Place the elbow of wire EXACTLY on the mark you made on piece A.

Place small piece of cut masking tape as close to the elbow as possible. Rub it down.

Bend end of wire back over the tape. This holds the wire in place.

Bend the other end of the wire straight up.

Place piece B on wire.

Flatten upright piece of wire tightly against paper and COIL!
