Learning Development Institute + Unesco
The Learning Development Institute is an outgrowth of a program that was developed at Unesco under the guidance of Jan Visser. The program was entitled Learning Without Frontiers. The Learning Development Institute sponsors a series of seminars and discussions throughout the year on learning-related topics.

Ciné-Tracts Magazine
Ciné-Tracts was published from 1976-1983. Seventeen issues were produced over this period and authors included, Stephen Heath, Teresa de Lauretis, David Bordwell, Donald Theall, John Berger, Raymond Williams, Peter Harcourt and many others. All seventeen issues are now available due to the generosity of Brown University and the Forbes Center. This magazine was founded and edited by Ron Burnett.

Some History
Over the last eleven years (since 1994) these pages have evolved from a source of information for classes at McGill University to a mixed environment of links, essays, connections to debates of interest to viewers/readers and reference points in the areas of culture, communications and hypermedia. Now, this site is housed at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design which is one of Canada's premier art institutions.

The Paintings of Henry Inlander
Henry Inlander was a well-known British painter of the 1950's, 60's and 70's. His paintings were bought by the Tate, the Beaverbrook Gallery and hang in major collections all over the world. He is the subject of a book that I am writing. Henry Inlander died in the early 1980's.
