1912 to 2012

This exhibition was conceived as a commemorative celebration of modern art practice. It is envisioned as a bridge between artist and viewer or between art expression and art appreciation. Artist Vjeko Sager feels that as the new millennium dawns we await the renewal of creative strategies. Before we can fully grasp them, we must comprehend the rapid evolution of 20th century art. This exhibition will transform the gallery into a “conference room” where the viewer will learn about four virtual artists who have been influenced in different ways by the evolution of modern art. Through different combinations of a variety of media, Vjeko will explore the invention of abstract art, the synthesis between arts and crafts, conceptual art practice and the fusion between technology and arts.
