Design Portfolios + Critique Workshop (CSDS 902)

Aimed at early-career communication and graphic designers, this three-day workshop offers a collaborative space to develop a more focused, compelling portfolio and gain practical industry insight. Bring completed or in-progress personal design projects to share and refine through guided critique and peer discussion. You will learn visual storytelling, presentation strategies, and aligning your portfolio with your desired career path, whether in branding, editorial, or digital design. Respectful critique and shared critical reflection are crucial, and this course invites designers to strengthen their creative voice to build confidence in how they present their work to the world.

Participants should come prepared with a statement of their goals as a designer and 2–4 complete or near-complete projects to share and discuss during the course.
