Adobe Photoshop: Photographic Editing (CECS 115)

Explore Adobe Photoshop as a versatile tool for photographic image correction and manipulation in this photography-focused course. Discover a variety of tools available for image correction and manipulation including layers, selections, masks, colour correction, dodging and burning, colour conversions, toning and retouching. Students will build on digital photographic workflow practices introduced in Adobe Lightroom to achieve good quality image retouching and composite image-making, resolution and file size adjustments, and colour management techniques for digital photographic output. Basic computer knowledge required.
