Illustration Concepts + Contexts (CEIL 221)
Learn about iconographies, visual culture and representation in the field of illustration. This course explores strategies for using image to persuade, promote, celebrate, attract, question and criticize. From ads to culture-jamming, commemoration to caricature, and protest to propaganda, you will learn conceptual approaches to problem solving as they apply to professional practices in illustration.
