Introductory Digital Illustration: Photoshop (CEIL 101)

Expand your illustration practice using Adobe Photoshop. Discover essential tools and techniques such as selection, drawing and painting tools, and blending digital elements. Students will learn to create raster and pixel-based illustrations. Learning from contemporary digital illustrators, students will take work from sketchbook drawings to digital illustrations, develop and experiment with different styles, and elevate their creative potential in preparation for the illustration industry.

This course requires students to have access to a desktop or laptop computer with an add-on digital drawing tablet and pen. Please see the materials list for further details. Basic computer knowledge is required.

Instructional Hours: 24 hours (8 classes, 3 hours per class)
