Narrative Illustration (CEIL 206)
This course will guide students to research, write, and visually capture narratives using illustrated imagery. Students will explore components of narrative such as identity, place, and lived experience through creative writing exercises and discussion topics, such as mythology and legend, visual histories, and the self as character. Diverse illustration techniques will be used to explore narrative symbols, sequential images, and conceptual compositions

Instructional Hours: 24 hours (8 classes, 3 hours per class)
Additional Hours: up to 24 hours for independent study and practice, assignment completion and homework.
