Introductory Relief Printing (CEPR 105)

This course introduces block printing using linoleum and wood surfaces. Explore hand-carving, composition and colour applications of relief printing from traditional techniques to more contemporary and experimental approaches. Create striking editioned images, learn hand and mechanical press printing methods, and discover opportunities to continue print practices at home with a basic set up and simple, accessible tools.

Instructional Hours: 24 hours (4 classes, 6 hours per class)
