The Artist Salon by the Richmond Art Gallery is a series of artist talks for artists to learn, share and connect with each other.

On February 7, hear about the artwork produced for the No.3 Road Art Columns Exhibition 13, in response to the question, “What are the stories we want to tell future generations?”. For this project two Richmond-based visual artists, Nadia Mahamoor and Ming Yeung, were selected for the opportunity to work in consultation or collaboration with one mentoring artist, Valerie D. Walker, as part of the No. 3 Road Art Columns Exhibition in 2019.

All of the artists will discuss what the mentor and mentee experiences were like, as well as their process and the work they produced as part of this public art initiative to provide support and mentoring opportunities for artists entering the field of public art practice.

This event is free, but registration is required to ensure a seat.
