HOBBS is based on 17 polaroids sent to me circa 1991 by Paul Jones.

Paul was the proprietor of PAUL JONES ANTIQUES on The King's Road, London, Chelsea in the 1980’s/90’s.. He was a respected arbiter of good taste, and sold cushions and lace to the very very rich at very rich prices.

The Polaroids where taken in 3 locations. The London apartment of Trudi Partridge, Paul's shop on The King's Road, and the night club KINKY GERLINKY.

I have set the narrative of the 17 pieces in the locations of KINKY GERLINKY / The Cafe de Paris, West End London, and the Apartment of Trudi Partridge which was a council flat ( unknown address ).

The story is of HOBBS, who falls in love twice, that night and the following morning.
