Please join us for the opening reception for VOCES INSUMISAS: Exploring Contemporary Mexico Through Art, at 6pm on Friday, March 6, in the Michael O'Brian Exhibition Commons at ECU. A performance by Eva Fernandez Ojeda will take place during that time.

VOCES INSUMISAS explores the social and political scenario in Mexico through the unique lenses of three artists who respond to these issues unambiguously using different mediums. The works deal with topics ranging from femicide, institutional corruption and state violence to oppression and migration issues.
