BCTLC Friday Café on Multilingualism is a new initiative for community-building amongst BC post-secondary educators. Students, staff, faculty, alumni, and administrators of Emily Carr are invited to share and continue discussions of multilingualism and interculturality, which also work within the context of decolonizing, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive efforts at our university.

Join us for exercises, conversation, and action that attune to the multiplicity that makes our learning communities meaningful.

From multilingual resources to models of inclusion, let's explore the critical and cultural power of multilingualism to enact equity and access in and beyond BC post-secondary classrooms.

Brought to you by the Faculty of Culture + Community, this event will be hosted by Cissie Fu with Debora O, Erika Thorkelson, Juliane Okot Bitek, and Tara Wren.
