Open artists’ books and archives
The ECU Library + Archives will be hosting Open Artists’ Books and Archives events every other Wednesday and Thursday during the lunch break.
Have you ever wondered what’s behind the glass cabinets and doors in the Artists’ Books Room? We invite you to come in and explore items from the artists’ books and archives collections, including prints from the Wosk Collection. We will have a selection of materials on a specific theme available for you to look at, but you are invited to request further access as well.
Come to the lower level of the library 11:30am-12:30pm on the follow dates:
- Jan 24-25: Protest, social movements, resistance
- Feb 7-8: Dance and embodiment
- Feb 12-14: Guest curated by Justin Ducharme as part of research residency
- Mar 6-7: Poetry, curated by Fiona Lam
- Mar 13: Assembling curated by Lois Klassen
- Mar 20-21: Colour
- Mar 27-28: Sustainability, curated by Morgan Martino
If you can’t make it on any of these days, you are always welcome to make an appointment to view the artists’ books and archives. Please find details on our website:
