Renew + Request Online

Renew Library Materials

To renew items online:

• Log in to your Library Account
• Use your ECU email username. If logging in for the very first time use the last 4 digits of your phone number as your password
• If you are having issues with your password, please contact us
• Look under Items Checked Out
• Select the items you want to renew and then click the Renew Selected Titles button
• Click Go

You may not renew items if:

• Another patron has requested the item
• You have already renewed the item 2 times
• Your account has expired or is about to expire
• Your account has been blocked (contact the Service Desk for details)
• The item is on a semester-long loan (renew in-person or via email/phone)

• Come to the Service Desk to renew in person

Place a hold on library materials

Library materials can be put on hold via the library catalogue

Place an item on hold to:

• Place a hold on material currently checked out (your name will be added to the waiting list)
• Request that a currently available item in the library be brought to the service desk for pickup
