Jeremy Pavka is a Vancouver-based interdisciplinary artist working across analogue and digital technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media Arts + Digital Technologies from the Alberta College of Art + Design.
Research Interests
Jeremy's practice explores the absurdities of daily life, often through the lens of comedic tropes and an intentionally laborious process. Working in large-scale sculpture and contemporary furniture design, Jeremy employs a range of materials including metal, wood, concrete and bronze. His work navigates the intersection of humour, routine and technology, transforming the mundane into thoughtfully crafted visual commentary with a sculptural and spatial presence.
