DESN 200: Core Studio in Design

This Core Studio consists of a series of team-taught interdisciplinary streams offering exposure to key aspects (values, concepts and skills) of Communication Design and Industrial Design for all Design students. Included are 2D, 3D and 4D design perspectives, such as: typography, photography, illustration, motion, interactivity, packaging, exhibition design, product, soft design, sustainable and eco design. Students engage in design process, research, analyze, design, present and evaluate ideas to meet required objectives through individual and group projects. Discussion and reflection help students make informed decisions about their personal and professional development.

Priority is given to COMD, INDD and INTD students in Year 2. Students outside of the registration priority group may register/waitlist for this course as of the registration rule release date.
