FNDT 145: Designing with Image + Time

In this elective studio course, students explore the elements of image and time and the broader interdisciplinary relationships to global design, with an emphasis on designing to support static and sequential imagery. Included is an overview of lens-screen-and time based processes and media along with references to the role of the drawing and design process. Assignments consist of short topic-oriented exercises that provide a critical context for historical and contemporary ideas concerning image and time.
