Summer 2022 Undergraduate Registration
Summer courses are available for students who need to catch up on courses, or for students who wish to work ahead into their programs, primarily by taking electives. Summer attendance is not mandatory.
Please note that the Summer term is quite different from the Fall and Spring terms with separate add/drop deadlines, withdrawal details and two terms within the summer period.

Waitlist Procedures
If a course status reads "Closed" that means no one has waitlisted on the course yet; students can start the queue by waitlisting the course. If the course status reads "Waitlisted", then add yourself to the end of the queue by choosing the Waitlist option. If a registered student drops the course, the first person on the waitlist is notified via their Emily Carr email that they have “Permission to Register”.
Students have one (1) day to register for a waitlisted course once the email notification has been sent.
Students who do not register before the time limit expires will have their name removed from the waitlist and the available space will be offered to the next student on the waitlist.
Students who are no longer interested in a course for which they are waitlisted should remove themselves from the waitlist through myEC. This frees up space for other students who may be needing the course.
It is the student's responsibility to check their Emily Carr email and/or the myEC website regularly to see their waitlist status.
