Kristen Campbell Receives Best Animation Award at TIFF Student Film Showcase

2012 graduate Kristen Campbell's  film Swift has been selected as Best Animation at the TIFF 2012 Student Film Showcase.

The Student Film Showcase features the finest in student films from universities and colleges across Canada. With the participation of the Film School Consortium, this TIFF event presents a range of student films in diverse forms — including animation, documentary, fiction and experimental works representing the burgeoning talent of our nation’s next generation of filmmakers.

This prestigious award is the third honour Campbell has received since graduating.  Along with winning the President’s Media Award in Animation from the University, she and fellow alum Sitji Chou (2011) travelled to Stuttgart, Germany where their project Trixi Goes to the Moving Pictures won the Crazy Horse 48hr Animation Jam.
