The New Media + Sound Arts 2018 Performance Series features two evenings of performance by NMSA faculty, staff, students and guests. Performances showcase live electronic sound, vocals—from canines, rainforest wildlife, and humans, theremin, animation and video.

January 25, 7pm

Julie Andreyev, Simon Lysander Overstall, Cissie Fu, DB Boyko with the VOICE OVER mind Choir will perform 2 works: EPIC_Tom and Biophilia. These works features vocals from canine, rainforest wildlife, and humans, along with live electronic sound, theremin, animation and video.

January 26, 7pm

Super LIVE! will feature performances by Peter Bussigel, ~|• (Simon Lysander Overstall), Tiny Disasters (Caroline Park + Julie Andreyev), and the Foundation Ensemble (FNDT 160 Media Core students). This evening showcases a number of experimental electronic works including, electronic sound, theremin, and live animation.

The NMSA 2018 Performance Series is part of the Time Light Sound Series.
