Support Emily Carr
Founded in 1925, Emily Carr University of Art + Design has grown from a small art school to a specialized university offering bachelors and masters degrees in art, design and media arts to over 1,600 students.
Emily Carr is recognized internationally for its outstanding curriculum and faculty, and for the achievements of students and alumni. The University is currently experiencing an exciting period of growth. Construction of the new 10,000 sq. ft. digital research facility, Intersections Digital Studios was recently completed; our Master of Applied Arts program launched in 2006 with the first class of 14 students; and we have recently opened a new Industry Research and Liaison Office to generate partnerships between industry and our art, design and media students, faculty and programs.
The support of the corporate, foundation and individual donor communities has been critical in fueling much of this activity. In addition, donors have generously funded student scholarships and bursaries to help ensure that our many gifted students can continue their education, regardless of their financial ability. We thank all of our donors and funders for their generous support.
To sustain our growth and continue to attract the best and brightest art students in Canada and the world, we rely on the continuous support of generous corporations, foundations and individuals.
