ECI Alumni Receive Teletoon Animation Scholarships

The Life and Death of Wriggly Chew

Jacqueline Koehler (07) won second place in the Continuing Education Category, open to students studying animation at the post-secondary level. Her film, The Life and Death of Wriggly Chew, follows the rhythmic existence of a piece of chewing gum.

Andrew Ford (07) takes home second prize for his film Stillwaters, in the Most Promising Student Category, for students graduating from a post-secondary animation program.

TELETOON is Canada's only all animation network. Since 1997, TELETOON has awarded more than $260,000 in scholarships to 96 students across Canada. As a launch pad for emerging animators, the TELETOON Animation Scholarship serves a vital role in the Canadian animation community.
