Elizabeth Zvonar - SUPER HUMAN BE-IN

Malaspina Printmakers presents new work by Elizabeth Zvonar (01). The exhibit will showcase a selection of photo lithographic prints and solar polymer prints created through the first Print Research Residency developed by Malaspina Printmakers to facilitate new print media based projects by artists. Using content culled from early Georgia Straight newspapers c. 1967-70, Zvonar developed work that represents a distillation of her research into early local underground press as a way to look at the purpose of such media and what kind of role it played in society then, juxtaposed against how it operates today.
