Yellow Sticky Notes

One of the hottest clips on YouTube is Yellow Sticky Notes by animator Jeff Chiba Stearns (01). Since being posted earlier this month, Jeff's film has had over 600,000 hits. Yellow Sticky Notes won Best Animation at the 61st Yorkton Short Film and Video Festival, which qualifies it for a Genie Award, and also won the Best Animation award at the Canadian Awards for Electronic and Animated Arts. Up next for Jeff is One Big Hapa Family, a broadcast hour documentary with a blend of live action and animation, which focuses on the high interracial marriage rate in the Japanese Canadian community and their children's identities.
