Sandy Lam Wins Prestigious Red Dot Award

Sandy Lam (08) has won a prestigious “red dot award” for one of her senior projects, Spaceless, completed in 2007. Spaceless is a deck installation kit for small apartment balconies where the tables and benches can fold into the deck.

With more than 10,000 submissions from 60 countries, the international “red dot design award” ranks among the largest and most renowned design competitions in the world. It is divided into the “red dot award: product design”, the “red dot award: communication design” and the “red dot award: design concept.” The award-winning products are put before an international public in the red dot design museum.
