Aparna Kapur Named Best Emerging Canadian Filmmaker by CFC

Aparna Kapur (08) received The Jackson-Triggs Award for Best Emerging Canadian Filmmaker, and a $5,000 cash prize at the CFC World Wide Short Film Festival for her film, Amma.
The film is a lovingly hand-drawn animation of a young girl's life and her magical connection to her grandmother.
