Emily Carr: Alumni Reunion in New York

An alumni reunion in New York! The event will take place Friday, November 13th, 2009 - its aim is to bring together alumni from Emily Carr University of Art + Design and its  predecessor institutions as part of its mandate to reconnect with alumni outside of British Columbia, and to encourage alumni to connect with each other.

The reunion will be held at The Penn Club of New York - an exclusive club, with a long history of alumni activity and charters (http://www.pennclub.org), located in midtown Manhattan. In attendance will be Ron Burnett, President and Vice-Chancellor, amongst others.

Some ideas for the event include: a keynote speaker, a personalized reunion keepsake, a NYC Facebook group - or perhaps there are other ideas, alumni in New York, would like to suggest?
