BC Children's Hospital Website Redesign

description

The final project for a Third Year Design Core class presented the opportunity to work with BC Children's Hospital. This group project was done with Vince Lo and Kirsty Tsang. As a team, we wanted to create a campaign that highlighted BCCH's ability to be present throughout every stage of a patients journey (Before, During & After).

This extensive project not only focused on a renewal of BCCH's website, but a thorough look into how technology can bring new opportunities for better health care.

Some of our proposals included an online fill out form to cut back on paper work and make the sign process faster.

Our team also proposed an online community for kids called Neighbourhood. This platform explored ways to allow long-stay children to reconnect with their community of friends/school and see their progress reports.

The crane app is an application created to allow friends and family to write, fold, and send their own crane of hope to a patient.

Other deliverables include an interactive Cold Aid Checker, Campaign Posters, and a Door hanger to make BCCH's services more noticed and avaliable.
