KAISHU is a community that showcase and foster designswith Chinese Typography. Designers can find inspirationsand ideas, get relevant feedback, and connect with otherdesigners with similar cultural background and interests.

Chinese characters have a rich history and unique design details that can provide a different perspective and source of inspiration for a visual designer. Understanding one of the earliest written languages and logographs deepens a designer’s understanding of human communication, and thus enriching one’s design.

East Asian designers in the Western world are not exposed or encouraged to study and practice design that incorporate their culture and heritage. Culture is an integral part of design, how can we ignore our background and heritage?

In the currently fast-globalizing market it's useful for designers to connect with their culture and expand their designs. Being able to design and incorporate Eastern and Western culture and languages will be a valuable asset for communication designers.
