Each of these garment pieces are targeted to a wide range of users including: people with spinal cord injury (T1- down), people with spinal polio injuries. Kalshoven's combination of the trousers, coat, and leather wrap are designed to allow people with paraplegia to dress themselves independently with style.

These garment pieces are designed with different problems in mind. Winter coats tend to bulge up in unwanted areas; Pants made for wheelchair users have a complete opening at the back; Long sleeves get dirty even when gloves are worn.
