Playces is a project that intends to nurture imaginative play in children through use of wood panels and found objects that serve as connectors.

The panels are derived from the common childhood activity of building forts, but can be attached at multiple points to become whatever the child imagines. Smaller cutouts provide opportunity for two dimensional play (weaving, knotting, etc.) while larger cutouts enable the child to physically move through the space created by the configured panels. The panels are lightweight with cutouts that serve as both connection points and handles for the child to carry the panel.
