CGIA 324: Special Effects I:Compositing

Digital image compositing is an essential component of feature film special effects, as well as graphic design and other print or time-based media. This course details fundamental compositing techniques applicable for a range of digital media: color keying, blue screen, camera tracking and color correction. Students gain skills towards working as a digital compositor in the computer animation and special effects industry. One of several prerequisite choices for CGIA 422 Computer Animation Production Studio.

ANIM 209 2D Animation I or CGIA 215 Digital Imaging Essentials or ISMA 200 Interactive + Social Media Art
