COMD 216 F001: Designing w/ Visual Rhetoric

This studio-based course introduces students to the relationship between form giving, the construction of visual messages, and the creation or framing of meaning in the context of communication design. Through lectures and short readings that inform studio-based projects, students will be introduced to theories in semiotics and visual rhetoric and their application in contemporary design practice.

Priority is given to COMD students in Year 2. Students outside of the registration priority group may register/waitlist for this course as of the registration rule release date.
