DESN 217: Design for Motion

This studio course introduces students to fundamental concepts of graphical change over time, including the sequencing of static and animated elements. Students develop a language of motion through the study of kinetic art and design, the psychological and physical factors underlying our perception of motion, and techniques for representing velocity, time-lapse, juxtaposition change, and visual illusions. The concepts acquired will be developed into studio projects using Adobe After Effects.

This course is subject to priority rules; see here.
