FNDT 126 S002: Sculpture
This course explores a variety of materials and techniques for developing ideas related to contemporary sculpture and 3D design. Students will be introduced to skills that may involve fabricating, plaster mold-making, metal casting, body casting, paper making and vacuum forming. The course emphasizes an understanding of the interrelationship of form and content for the process of communication.

I can say:I am passionate about fine art ,while I like the decipline of design.To me,having social responsibilty is one of the most important aspects of what I do and what I think about it.I am hard working with great energy which seems it never ends ....I hardly get tired!
Life is story telling,we share our stories with others,while some people never want to listen.That's the point where art speaks and inspires people to listen.

Karen Kazmer, a practising visual artist, works with a diverse range of materials in her sculpture, installations and public art. She received her BFA from UBC and her MFA from York University. She has taught at Emily Carr University and York University, and her work has been exhibited in group and solo shows in Canada and the United States. Recently, a two site public art commission, Overhead yet Underfoot, funded by the federal Cultural Capital Commission, has been completed for the Surrey Centre Walking Loop Public Art Project.
