GSML 522: Illus Adv Studio II

Illustration Advanced Studio classes aim to span the studio and professional aspirations of the participants. This class allows the students to explore a range of visual and conceptual possibilities and solutions in regards to contemporary arts practice. Through this experience, participants identify opportunities to succeed in gallery and personal practice, with an application to illustration markets and industries. The structure of the Advanced Studio course is determined by the faculty, in collaboration with students, at the beginning of the semester and may include presentations by the instructor, assigned projects, reviews and critiques of student work in progress, presentations and critiques by visiting artists, designers, curators and/or scholars, and class trips or off-campus interactions.
