GSML 534: Design Studio III

The aim of this course is to draw the work done in Co-laboratory I into the studio such that it supports Thesis Research: Ideation & Visualization. Conceptual and practical issues germane to evolving a transformation design project are covered, including the design space and potential audience interactions, data gathering, analysis, and articulation of outcomes, identification and mediation of project weaknesses, development of a self-reflective and self-reflexive practice through continued journaling in a process book, and the realization and structuring of a series of potential visual directions for the research project. Diversity of options is a hallmark of Transformation Design.
