GSML 536: Co-Laboratory I

Writing as experiential design is the course focus. Building on their research curriculum, students learn and gain practice in written genres from the first person (self-portrait) to the third person point of view, to narrative history, and to decision-making (argument). Students learn to think systematically about their writing craft and the mechanics and conventions necessary to communicate with authenticity, rigor and intent. Making informed choices about language use and style also facilitate the reader's experience. Rhetoric device has the power to transform the way people think, and how they act in response. This writing intensive allows you to plan, compose, iterate and refine your thesis project proposal.
