Rajdeep Gill
Bio
Dr. Rajdeep S. Gill is an interdisciplinary scholar, educator, art historian and curator. His research areas and interests include interdisciplinary theory and practice, human and nonhuman creativity, philosophy of science and technology, cognitive, social, and environmental justice as well as transformative teaching and learning. Rajdeep has over a decade of experience co-creating democratic learning environments where diversity of thought and practice, differences in experiences and worldviews, and creative ownership of learning, purpose, and direction are strongly supported.
Rajdeep has taught in Interdisciplinary Studies at UBC, and has also taught courses in Critical and Cultural Studies at ECUAD, the Film and Art History program at the University of the Fraser Valley, and the Interdisciplinary Expressive Arts Program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. He speaks and writes across disciplines, contexts and communities and has served as a Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholar and as Curator-in-Residence at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
