With this piece I further explore the deconstuction of canvas by cutting it with an exacto blade and weaving painted canvas through the slits. This helps creates the movement in the painting.

2016This involved a process where I painted an unstretched canvas with various colours that I then cut into strips. After deconstructing the canvas I then wove it back together and reconstructed the painting into an altogether new and dynamic image. From the one large canvas I created 4 small 8" x 10" paintings.
