This is a commemorative stamp for an art director named Rik Davila Bracho. His work uses lots of colour and geometric shapes. I had the opportunity to make a stamp series of Rik Davila Bracho.

The stamp is for British Columbia, and we have the 12 Pane Stamps, First Day Cover Envelopes, the Issued Stamp, and the Souvenir Sheet.

A poster series for WWF, a non-profit organization. Raising awareness of the endangered species was the focus.

The image is comical in that the scenario is ridiculous; however, it is an accurate reflection of how many view the what it takes to preserve wildlife.  It is a wake up call, greater action must be taken.

One of the two graduation projects. This project focused on how students at Emily Carr University plan their life. The current planner offered at Emily Carr University does not provide any freedom for students to use and expand their creativity.

This planner introduces the students to a mesh of a planner and a sketchbook. The purpose of this project was not to design something "pretty" but really focus on how the students learn, sketch, plan etc. It was more about trials after trials...

One week quick project to create a concert poster for a favourite artist.

For this project, I picked Lykke Li, a Swedish indie singer. Her lyrics portray her experience and often revolve around being a girl. Her songs have instruments like triangles that add a girly feeling. With this in mind, I started to listen to each instrument part in the song called "Little Bit". The illustrations in the poster are a collage of my interpretation of each instrument that played.

This project was to raise awareness of the dangers of using cellphones while driving. This was created around the time that British Columbia passed into law that it was to be illegal to use a cellphone while driving

I had the pleasure of working with a young boy and a model to art direct with my partner Jen Cook. We were able to find a hair salon that allowed us to use their space and tools.

This project explains that when you are on your phone, you lose focus, and...

For this project for the art direction class, we had to learn how to work with models, props, cameras, lights and more. We created a magazine spread aimed for teenagers who would want to have an ideal party at their own homes without it getting out of hand.

Creating the atmosphere for the our target audience was very fun to do. The hardest part of the project was adjusting the lights and making the drinks and the food look delicious.

These two books were designed in reaction to an article written about fashion designer Marc Jacobs and his perspective on runway models.

The first book is a written article with imagery that corresponds to it. The second book goes through a series of Marc Jacobs' collection over 5 years. The second book strongly reflects what he talks about in the first booklet.
