This is an exercise of interactive flash website. In this assignment, I was aiming to explore different unique ways that users might interact with the content of the website.(Contents are merely place holders).
This assignment is to produce a contemporary interpretation of a wood type poster. It is not required to look historical but exciting,strong,dynamic,explosive,eye-catching. Also, it should be a thoughtful,intelligent,appropriate expression of the text that it contains.
For this assignment, I collected various hiring advertisements from different sources and use different typefaces to express the contents.Each of the ads has its own hirachy and focus, like a little story on its own....
The Alcuin Society is a voluntary association of people who care about the past, present and future of fine books.The Society’s two main goals are to promote a wider appreciation of books and reading and to support excellence in book design and production.
This poster was created to promote the society's prestigious award event known as the Alcuin Society Awards for Exellence in Book Design in Canada.
