The Vancouver, Gateway to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada at Yohohama's EXPO 89 was designed produced by mostly ECUAD student and faculty. As Creative Director, and in the spirit of the EXP) 89 theme-Children and Space, Sam Carter commissioned artists, designers and craftspeople to create Canadian Dolls representing Canadian youth, presented hitorical Canadian toys, information about the flora-fauna-and green spaces and resources of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Canada.
