Start on a path toward future studies in web development and design, or create your own personal or business website. Designed for beginners with no experience or technical knowledge, this course introduces essential skills for website design. Offering an overview of web browsers, web servers and foundations of the web, this course emphasizes responsive web design, including adaptive web page content and layouts for a variety of web browsers and electronic devices. You will learn basic HTML and CSS to create dynamic web pages or customize WordPress templates. By the end of this course, you'll be able to describe the structure and functionality of the web and have a working model for creating your own website.
