Bridging iterative design processes and user interface design, this course translates visual design principles to the screen, implementing colour theory, typography and compositional techniques for digital interfaces. Students will employ the design process to create user interface elements and effective compositions for web, including wireframing, hierarchy, navigation, legibility and expressive functions. Explore brand attributes and visual identity, interface prototypes, and develop design solutions according to insights and feedback through testing.
